REVIEW - 4 STARS
Remember is the second book in the symbols of love series. This is Milly and her first loves Dean’s second chance at love. The story opens with Milly’s husband leaving her. He is a real pig about it too. It is obvious that they have drifted apart but the way he goes about it is ugly. After Milly acts out a bit and wallows she picks herself up. She decides to write a list of things she wants to do to get the old Milly back. One of the things she decides to do is get back into party planning. This brings her face to face with her lost love Dean. These two were separated as teens by the events surrounding the disappearance of Milly’s father. Dean has never stopped loving Milly. After he gets his anger out of his system due to her leaving he wants her all to himself.

I liked these two together. This was a sweet second chance love story. At times it was a little too sweet. The circumstances that separated them was unfair to them but they quickly got back on track. I have to say the sex scenes were a lot better in Remember; the scenes in Rise made me cringe. I really enjoyed the wrap up on what happened with Milly’s dad. It was a good twist and conclusion for me. I didn’t care for book one because I felt it was a huge loose end for Rise. All in all this was a pretty good read and you can tell Dylan Allen is growing as an author. Well Done.
