About the Author
Born on the mystical day of October 30th in the not so mystical lands of Mexico City, Claudia grew up with a childhood that resembled a caffeine-injected soap opera. Seventeen years ago she ventured to the lands of her techie husband—a.k.a. the U.S.—with their offspring to start a new adventure. She now lives in Colorado working as a CFO for a small IT company, managing her household filled with three confused dogs, said nerd husband, two daughters wrought with fandoms and a son who thinks he’s the boss of the house. To survive she works continually to find purpose for the voices flitting through her head, plus she consumes high quantities of chocolate to keep the last threads of sanity intact.

She’s touring with Exodus End as their new rhythm guitarist and gaining more notoriety and fame than she ever imagined possible.
She’s earned the devoted love of not only one, but two spectacular men. Her committed threesome with sexy guitarist Trey Mills and her hunky bodyguard Ethan Conner is stable, loving, deep, and satisfying for all involved.
But sometimes the world sees things differently and is determined to destroy what it doesn’t understand.
Can Reagan’s relationship with Trey and Ethan survive the cruel backlash of the media, her family, and a bigoted public? Or will the talented musician lose everything she holds dear in the face of her own burgeoning doubts?
Outsider is the second book in the Exodus End World Tour series. It’s also the sequel to Double Time, the fifth book in the Sinners on Tour series.

3.5 stars
I really hate that I didn’t love this one as much as I wanted to because I was excited about a new Trey, Ethan, and Reagan book. That being said Outsider had some really good stuff in it and I am really looking forward to Dare and Max’s book. Please hurry! I want Dare first please.

If you read Insider you know that some of Reagan’s life was exposed to the tabloids. The triad is now in the position of trying to decide how to proceed and how much to let the public know. At this point the tabloids only think that she is cheating on Trey with Ethan; they have no idea what is really going on. I really loved Trey in Outsider he was strong and ready to fight. He has lived his whole life pining for a guy that didn’t want him and now that he has found his soulmates he is ALL IN. The problem is Reagan and Ethan aren’t all in. Oh boy, it was really hard to like these two for most of the book. Trey was ready to tell the public and let the fallout happen. As long as they have each other they would be okay. Trey is very right but Reagan and Ethan refuse. They are both afraid to come out to their families. I totally understood their fears but they kind of made that choice when they decided to pursue a triad relationship. It was immature and unrealistic for them to think they could stay in a bubble. They needed to be willing to fight for Trey. The parts leading up to them coming around really dragged for me. In part because anytime they tried to have a serious convo they started screwing and didn’t resolve things. I have always thought Ethan was a jerk but he finally decided to man up and take steps to change their situation. Sadly Reagan never really endeared herself to me; even in the end.

There was some really good stuff in Insider. I loved the talks between Trey and Dare. Dare is such a good big brother and he makes me swoon. I can’t wait for his book! I loved the heart to heart between Trey and Brian. I just really adored Trey this time around. I liked him in Double Time but he has come such a long way now that he is happy. Ethan’s mom was a hoot and I really liked the family scenes. The scene with Sed and the letter really got to me and even though it was a sad scene it was fabulous to see the band together like that.

All in all this was a good read and I am looking forward to the next book in the series even though it’s not Dare’s. *pouty face*

Release Blitz & Reviews - Wilder by Rebecca Yarros

Rebecca Yarros
September 19, 2016

He’s Paxton Wilder.   Twenty-two-year-old, tattooed, smoking-hot leader of the Renegades.   Five time X Games medalist.   The world is his playground—especially this year—and for the next nine months I’m stuck as his tutor on the Study at Sea program.   He’s too busy staging worldwide stunts for his documentary to get to class.   But if I can’t get him to take academics seriously, I’ll lose my scholarship…if I don’t lose my heart first.   Six unlikely friends on a nine-month cruise with the Study at Sea program will learn that chemistry is more than a subject and the best lessons aren’t taught in the classroom…but in the heart.

5 stars

I just have one question. Do these schools actually exist? If so, I need to become a teacher.

The lucky shits er I mean students get to study at sea...on a cruise ship...then their days off are spent at ports like Barcelona and Rome and Mykenos.

Leah earned her spot on a scholarship and as a tutor. She's assigned to none other than Paxton Wilder. He'll be filming his adventure reality show for his YouTube channel all funded by his father on the condition that he finishes college and keeps his grades up. It looks like responsible, perfectly happy with her feet on the ground, Leah is going to be along for the ride.

Yarros excels at opening chapters and this one was action packed meant to pull you in and have you begging for more. She took the typical romance formula and gave us a unique setting filled with twists and mysteries. It knocked me on my ass. I loved Paxton and Leah. They were so complex and flawed. Even the secondary characters are hiding something deeper. I'm dying to get to know the other Renegades.

Another winner from Yarros. I loved every adrenaline-fueled page. Bravo!

*Fyi - Wilder is a complete story, no cliffhanger.*

4.5 “ I want my own adventure at sea” Stars

Wilder is the story of Paxton Wilder; leader of the Renegades and Leah the girl handpicked to be his tutor during a year at sea. I applaud Ms. Yarros for a completely unique story and setting. This novel is full of adventure, romance, and suspense; all wrapped up in a fantastic backdrop.

Paxton is filming a documentary with the Renegades but he also needs to make sure he graduates while doing his stunts and gallivanting in exotic locales. Leah has been given the tutor spot but she has to help Paxton graduate or she will have to leave the program. She soon finds out how difficult it will be keeping wild card Paxton focused. Leah is pulled out of her comfort zone with Wilder; not only romantically but with the adventures he takes her on. Paxton scares her with his fearless attitude and his charming ways. How does she stand a chance with a sexy daredevil of a man and the romantic locales that they visit?

Wilder also has a fabulous mystery to solve with a traitor among them and lives threatened. I didn’t see the villain coming and it made for a great twist. I really liked how complex Leah and Paxton were and this story has brilliantly developed characters with a rich story. I can’t wait for the next book. I need it now and that sucks for me since Wilder is a new release. Impatiently waiting until next time. Well done!

book blurb
I watch. I study. I prowl. I hunt. I always go in with a plan. A set of rules for myself. I don’t take unnecessary risks. That’s how I’ve been able to evade capture all these years. But there’s something about this girl that is different than the others. When I finally meet her, the rules become a blur. And I break the most important one of all—I take her with me. ——- It’s just my imagination—that feeling of being watched. That those icy eyes— a vivid turquoise with a distinct golden fleck—aren’t watching me. It’s just stress. I am the person everyone relies on. Maybe that’s why I haven’t been feeling so content with my life lately. Why I dream those eyes belong to someone who can tear me away from all of my responsibilities. But these are just shameful fantasies, never meant to breach reality. Then one night, the dream comes true, only it’s a horrific nightmare. Now, I only have one task: survival.
Patience. It's the most important tool in my arsenal. I plan every hunt from start to finish. I watch their lives through windows. I learn their routines. I enter their homes and go through their keepsakes and take a small token here or there. Something they won't notice or assume they have misplaced. I may move a picture. Eat something. Just enough so that somewhere in their subconscious they feel my presence long before I am standing in front of them. That used to be enough. Just being there, surrounded by their things, the vestiges of their daily lives. It used to be enough to look at the tokens I kept and remember the rush I felt being inside the walls I had watched from afar. But that rush faded a long time ago, vanishing in a spectacular eruption the day the one person who understood me died. Without her, the loneliness became unbearable and the rage swelled. It filled me until I could feel it creeping out of my skin, until I was so full of rage and pain that I had to put it on someone else to make it disappear. Watching wasn't enough. I had to hear their voices. See their faces. Steal their lives. So instead of just taking, I began to leave things behind: tape, rope, gloves, lube.

Kenzi one day old
Toren fifteen years old

“We want you to be her Godfather,” Asher says as he gently lays his newborn baby into my arms. I have to tear my gaze away from her spellbinding eyes to look up at him from the chair I’m cradling the baby in.

“Me?” I repeat, glancing over at Ember in the hospital bed, who beams back at me with a tired, yet genuine smile.

“Yes, you,” they both say at the same time. “If it wasn’t for you, we probably never would have met,” Ember adds, grabbing Asher’s hand. “And we wouldn’t have this beautiful little baby. We know you’ll always protect her.”

“That’s right, man. You’re Uncle Tor now.”

I’m an uncle. And my two best friends are parents. And we’re all fuckin’ under sixteen.

But Kenzi Allyster Valentine would change us all forever. She needed us.

“Wow. I’m honored, guys. No doubt, I’ll always be here for her.”

I kick back the pang that hits my stomach. I didn’t get the girl…but I got something better that I never expected. A gift in the form of a little tiny hand wrapped tightly around my finger, huge eyes like gems staring up into mine like I was the most amazing person in the friggen’ world, and the first glimpse of what I could already tell was going to be a heart-stopping smile.

At that moment, a connection was born.

That was it.
She owned me.
My niece.
My god-daughter.
The love of my life.

3.5 stars

Where the Snow Falls is the second book to Kaz and Violet’s story. Kaz is now free and his goal is to get to Violet and end his father. I loved that he didn’t waste any time getting to Violet and whisking her away. I was thankful this wasn’t a book of them being separated the whole time.

They go in hiding for a bit and Kaz starts to gather information. Kaz learns the dirty details of the deals their fathers made years ago. This drives him even more to end Vasily before he can strike. I loved Kaz’s badassness in this installment. You really got to see the brutal boss that he will be.

I didn’t love this book as much as I wanted though. I really felt that it was a filler book. Violet doesn’t really play a strong roll and is just there in the background. When she is doing something it seemed liked stupid mistakes were being made. The book is filled with lots of steamy sex between the two but I am still not quite certain what draws them to each other. I am still really intrigued by Ruslan and now Kolya, Maya, Konstantin, and Amelia.

Even though I didn’t like this one as much the authors leave us with a brutal cliffy and I of course will be reading to see what happens with that ending.
