ONLY THROUGH BLOOD CAN THE DEEPEST REDEMPTION BE FOUND…
He was born to ascend.
He was destined to lead.
He was never meant to fail.
Prophet Cain lies broken and defeated on the floor of his cell. A cell he has been thrown into by the one person who was supposed to stand by his side until the end. His flesh and blood, his only companion. His beloved twin brother.
Cain has sacrificed everything for his people. He left the safety and security of his life of study to infiltrate the infamous Hades Hangmen. He lived with them, rode with them, and then betrayed them. All in the name of a faith he can now feel slipping away from him. Like everything else he once held dear…
But then his isolation is broken. Another prisoner is brought to the cell next to his. A woman fighting her own demons and fears. A woman who Cain understands needs him, as he needs her.
As the connection between them grows, so does Cain’s resolve. He will right the wrongs he has done. He will atone for the evil acts carried out in his name. He will save the one he loves…
… Even if the battle takes him to the gates of hell itself.
Contemporary Dark Romance. Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language, and mature topics. Recommended for age 18 years and up.
SHANDA and ANGIE'S REVIEWS
Angie's 5 star
Every time I think Cole can't possibly top the previous Hangmen book she proves me wrong. This book was everything. I won't get into any details because this story is best going in blind. Just know that Cole did right by Rider/Cain. She stayed true to him, his faults, his regrets, his guilt, and to how the Hangmen feel about him.
I'm in awe at how perfectly Cole weaved this story. Excellent forward progression. Lots of tears - happy and sad. And she set up the next book nicely. As always, I'm looking forward to more. Definitely one of my favorites of the year. Bravo!
Shanda's - 4.5 stars
Once again another fabulous read by Tillie Cole and you should definitely go in blind so I advise you avoid spoilery reviews. I have been dying for Rider’s book since he hit the page in book one. I have always felt that he was just as brain washed as the Cursed Sisters if not more; but having Tillie put his story to paper just broke my heart. If you were in the “I hate Rider/Cain camp” I think you will be pleased with his redemption. TC is a fabulous storyteller and can weave a fantastic story that guarantees your heart will be ripped to shreds. Deep Redemption was filled with shocking twist and turns, redemption, and love. Our heroine was a very strong lead character and I loved her devotion and determination. I hated the Hangmen’s actions (Part of the reason this couldn’t reach a 5 star for me. To me it didn’t show growth on the Hangmen’s part. ) but rooted for the strength their women finally showed. As expected Tillie leaves you highly anticipating the next book in the series and I have no doubt it will be awesome. I think we are left with a great lead in to AK’s story and I will be impatiently waiting.
